1763

1763
It took seven years to defeat France, but we finally won in 1763. New France was now British land but the people living there were French, with French culture and language. We tried to get them to change their ways but had to give up. Even tough Britain won the war there were still many problems. Britain had spent all their money one fighting France, and the country was beat-up and warn down.

During the American Revolution the Thirteen colonies separated from Britain except for Quebec and Nova Scotia. As a result to the American Revolution many families left their homes In the U.S to come live in British North America because they wanted to keep ling in British ways. The settlers from the 13 colonies lived in crowded areas and they wanted to move into the Ohio valley. Unfortunately the First Nations were already living there, and were not going to move. The Royal Proclamation of 1763 officially sated First Nations rights to own some land.

  2. The Ohio valley was rightfully ours. Our towns are to crowded and most of the people living in them are British loyalists, we were outnumbered in the war but the British could not account for our spies.
