There is a roomer that Governor Lord Dunmore will give freedom to slaves that work for rebels but turn to loyalists. I am not so sure how much freedom we will get but it is better than working in a plantation. I am escaping tonight with Thomas Peters and a couple others. Thomas new where to go, so I followed him to a group of black-regiments in the British army.

After the war I found my self separated from Thomas. Since black loyalists were not given land I had to lived with a couple hundred other black loyalists. I find this rather unfair, and I plan to do something about it...
