The British Loyalist
He has done it a gain! We all know James Moody, he has helped many of British loyalists escape from jail. Now he has escaped from jail him self, after being capture in July of 1780. In September of the same year, he was able to get out of the shackles that chained him to the wall. Then cleverly took his guards musket, and ran. He lived of the wile until he could rejoin his regiments. Because of his bravery Moody will receive half pay as a captain even though he is not this ranking.

There is a roomer that Governor Lord Dunmore will give freedom to slaves that work for rebels but turn to loyalists. I am not so sure how much freedom we will get but it is better than working in a plantation. I am escaping tonight with Thomas Peters and a couple others. Thomas new where to go, so I followed him to a group of black-regiments in the British army.

After the war I found my self separated from Thomas. Since black loyalists were not given land I had to lived with a couple hundred other black loyalists. I find this rather unfair, and I plan to do something about it...

A war has just broken out between the British and the U.S, it is called the American Revolution. Those who are part of the thirteen colonies but support the British have to move into British land fast. If you don't want to move then you better say you support the U.S, other wise you might end up like Thomas Randolph...ugh! There is not enough room for all the people that have migrated to live. All the United Empire Loyalists moved up north, that is about 70 000 more people! what will happen next? I hope that Britain stays in power, and dose not lose the war!

How dare they! The British Government keeps adding taxes to everything! At first it was the Stamp Act making us pay extra to for every piece of printed paper. Now it is the tea! Though the Stamp Act was cancelled because of our boycott, and the tea taxation is going to be much harder to cancel. We have an idea to cancel the tea taxation though,we are going to dump crates of tea into the harbour. The problem is, even if the tea taxation is cancelled, the British will just find something else to tax. Well I have to go protest, “NO TAXATION WITH OUT REPRESENTATION!”

I am very unhappy that the French lost, the British don't respect us. They keep making laws on how we have to adapt to their ways of life. Though Governor James Murray seems to be the only on that treats us fairly, in fact he seems to favour us. The British merchants get mad every time us french are given rights. Unfortunately Governor James went back to England and they replaced him with Sir Guy Carleton. We were a little scared that he would take away all the rights that Murray gave us, but strangely he didn't. He treated us the same way that Murray did i think the British were causing more trouble then us. Carleton was great, in 1774 the Quebec act was passed witch cancelled all assimilation goals

1763

1763
It took seven years to defeat France, but we finally won in 1763. New France was now British land but the people living there were French, with French culture and language. We tried to get them to change their ways but had to give up. Even tough Britain won the war there were still many problems. Britain had spent all their money one fighting France, and the country was beat-up and warn down.

During the American Revolution the Thirteen colonies separated from Britain except for Quebec and Nova Scotia. As a result to the American Revolution many families left their homes In the U.S to come live in British North America because they wanted to keep ling in British ways. The settlers from the 13 colonies lived in crowded areas and they wanted to move into the Ohio valley. Unfortunately the First Nations were already living there, and were not going to move. The Royal Proclamation of 1763 officially sated First Nations rights to own some land.
